Coach Larry is a dedicated New York City basketball coach and youth athletic leader with over a decade of experience helping young athletes grow through sports. His background combines hands-on coaching, large-scale program leadership, and youth development, giving him a well-rounded approach that goes beyond just teaching the game. Over the years, Larry has worked with players across a wide range of ages and skill levels, creating environments that are structured, encouraging, competitive, and centered on long-term growth. His coaching style emphasizes fundamentals, discipline, confidence, teamwork, and basketball IQ, while also helping players develop the habits and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the court.

In his current role as Assistant Athletic Director with Milbank Flyers, Larry coaches AAU basketball teams, oversees practices and tournaments, and helps manage the moving parts that make strong programs run smoothly. Previously, as Director of Coaching at Mo’ Motion Youth Sports, he recruited and trained coaches, built curriculum for 12+ teams, directed leagues and tournaments, and helped grow programming through thoughtful leadership and community engagement. He also brings valuable experience from his work in middle and elementary school athletics, including coaching basketball and teaching physical education. Whether working with beginners learning the basics or more advanced players sharpening their game, Larry brings energy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to each athlete’s development.
